A lot of people getting married ask me where I got my photography, video and other things done. This page outlines who I used and will tell you why they are awesome and why you should use them too.

Photography

We paid $1,800 for our wedding photos from Daniel and they were AMAZING!!! We didn’t purchase any coffee table books or anything as they were very expensive and we didn’t really want the style he offered. So instead we made our own wedding albums on our Mac and got them printed through iPhoto.

Daniel is booked out more than A YEAR in advance so get in quick. We got him within 2 months because our wedding was on a Thursday.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone else more highly. He was great on the day and as you will see in the video below (or on my facebook) the photos were second to none.

Videography

Not many people realise HOW AMAZING a video of your wedding is. If I had to choose between wedding photos and video I would choose video HANDS DOWN!

The video showed our personalities and who we were on the day, which is something I will cherish forever. You also forget so much about the day so it is great to have a video to remember all the fun moments.

We paid around $2,300 for our video, and it was money well spent. It isn’t a boring video that goes for like 10 hours of the whole day. All the clips are put to music (like a music video) and it is so much fun to watch and show friends.

Sketchbook Media are the wedding video company to have at your wedding. They are fun and professional and their editing is amazing. Check out the video below for a snippet of how awesome they were.

Location

We got married at Shelly Beach in Manly. It cost around $400 to hire out the beach for the wedding. We got married on a Thursday in October around 4pm.

Reception

Le Kiosk – http://lekiosk.com.au

We had our reception at Le Kiosk, located on Shelly Beach in Manly, and it was great. Good food, great setup, huge area for dancing and friendly and professional staff. Awesome hardwood floors and a beachy feel is one of the main reasons we (and by we I mean the bride…I just agreed….as all good future husbands do) chose the place.

We got married on the Thursday and the reception had a minimum spend of $10,000. At the time Friday cost you $15,000 as did sunday and Saturdays were around $20,000. Again money well spent.
