If you are an entrepreneur at heart it is likely that you have read “The Lean Startup”. If you haven’t I highly recommend it.
The lean startup focuses its attention on creating a “minimum viable product”. This is a cheap quick product that you can make to test whether or not there is a market and your assumptions about that market are right. This idea being you don’t want to spend 12 months and a lot of money creating something people don’t want.
I am taking this same concept across to websites.
Create a “minimum viable website” with just a few articles and get it up and out there. This allows you to cheaply test whether or not the website project has some validity.
The goal being to throw a lot at the wall and see what sticks. Then when you find something that sticks double down on it and milk it for all it’s worth.
Rinse and repeat
